I prefer punting when it's raining heavily, quieter and makes the whole experience more exciting
i do prefer when it's raining, however there's an up and down side to punting when its raining. The upside is quieter, down side is the girl you wanted to see might not be working.

i don't go if it's really raining hard or if it's a stinkin' hot day 'cos there's almost always a bit of a hike to and from wherever.

Wet and cold days are alright, but not muggy days, sweaty arses are not very nice
I tend to prefer the hotter days. Still will pubnt in winter but tends to be less.
For me, hotter weather can mean less clothing for the ladies (I am a RnT fan) and as a born perve, it is fun

I've been told by many ML that a nice (hot sunny) day is slow for business as everyone seems to be out. So I suggest hot day is a good day to punt if you want choices.
