years ago i went to the pool bar (ivy CBD) with a group of friends. i noticed that young single women (look like uni students) started showing up in the evening. suppose looking for a guy to buy them drinks.
Sometimes the line between an escort and a civvie is very thin indeed.
Why? Because I've never picked up a normie/ not looking for a relationship / wouldn't know whereto go where its easy to pick-up normies given im mid 40's
WL I would expect would make it a lot easier as they make 1st move, looking for short time, and importantly for me happy to hangout at bar, have drinks, bit of a dance then go back to hotel for some fun...and as they are already there at a bar im not needing to bother with escorts to arrange to meet etc etc

Funnily enough that's exactly where I tried but it was around 10pm on a Thursday night....pretty empty.
Besides I don't know whether casino has dance clubs or floors which as said is what inwas keen on, someone to have a good time with drinks, boogie and then a different type of boogie back in the room 😉

The Star use to have a nightclub Marquise that ran Friday and Saturday nights. Friday was more Asian night and Saturday tended to be more everyone. Not sure if it has reopened under a different name. There is a bar that has bands and dancing too some nights. It's located after Fat Noodle restaurant and near another restaurant that serves Malaysian dishes.
Marquee has permanently shut down . No replacement yet . After the breach in money laundering regulations, they had shut down.
It had seen better days with a lot of celebs visiting including paris Hilton , Leonardo caprio , post Malone etc etc
OK so the plan is don't go to a shop and pay $250 or $300 or $350 or $400 or whatever for an hour with a WL with a 100% guarantee of a fuck, and no drama and go back home and crack a beer and watch Netflix worry free and chilled out ... no that's too simple.
We are gonna go to a bar after hours where maybe we will meet a WL after her shift, and maybe we can buy her drinks, and maybe we can take her home, and maybe we can get to fuck her ... and then we have to deal with all the drama that comes after that "do you love me?" "my mother is sick" "I need a visa", "I need money", ... OK ... sounds fine ... I am in ... lets go ... where are these freakin bars ...
Well each to their own, I'd like to think many wouldn't mind having a fun night out and making some money off it too? As for $ commitments, it's a one time thing for me, I don't get sucked into the whole sob stories.
I was in Vietnam last year and went to a new town I hadn't been to. I couldn't find a single English tour guide. However I found some girlie bars. Met a WL and we hit it off great. I asked if she would be my tour guide and she happily agreed. Best 5 days of my life with a female.....She had a scooter and we would both ride around everywhere. She took me to a bunch of cool cafes, bars, beaches, hidden authentic restaurants, and of course good time in the hotel too. All up around $500.
there is a myriad of economic, social, geographic reasons those bars exist in Asia that dont hold here.
In any case why would a wl freelance in Sydney, when they can work at a legit place. Even if they're garbage some photoshop, fake exaggerated profile easy couple of grand before anyone catches on.

Yeah the days of wls hanging around in hotel bars waiting for a cashed up lonely traveller to whisk them upstairs are long gone in this country. They have the internet, why waste time when you can just stay in, wait for the guys to see your ad and message you to make a booking?
And when wls go out to relax, they usually just want to do just that, hang with friends, have a couple of drinks etc, they aren't there to work. Your only hope of a pick up is if you have LARGE bank or mad charm skills, but even then she's not going to say "Hi I'm a hooker just out for a fun night." You would likely never know.
So yeah, nah.
FYI I was referring to the girls walkin the floor in the casino tryin to spot the highrolllers / people that won big, flirt with them and will charge a premium.

Agree that mostly Internet, living standards and to a lesser extent Sydney lockdowns and Covid are all the key factors

The SE Asia bar scene and Australian bar scene are totally different for the reasons stated by OneandDone .
Not having a go at you Mapboy. I love the SE Asia bar scene too. But my point is you can't replicate it here in Sydney. The economics, the culture, the politics, the everything is all different here.
My strategy is punt in the brothels in Sydney and enjoy great girls, especially Japanese girls, and every couple of years take a trip to SE Asia and enjoy a totally different experience there.
