You work in Ginza or Tokyo?

I think you're in the wrong forum. You won't get many clients here.

I agree. It's time to ban these two trolls.

Maybe you could answer the question first?

Product photographer. Things have been okay as many people want to try their hands in ecommerce and brick and mortar shops want to go online. And they need photos.

But there is not a lot of money in it. I do it because I enjoy it.

However a neighbour has lost his job with a tech company. And another one lost her job in human resouces.

Self funded retirees should have more to spend, thanks to higher interest rates!

Yep, not a lot of $$ left over, so now instead of punting, I read about it here.

I teach and the pay has been on a backslide with little hope for recovery unless the pay scale for medical and transport workers also goes up. Unsurprisingly long hours and stress mean that any urge to punt is killed after a whole day at work. Not like there's much money left after payments anyway 😫

I'm in IT. Recently lost a contract for work, now on another contract, but it's a very short term one.

IMO, the situation is quite dire, at least in the tech sector. Job market is terrible, and everyday there's a news story about this or that major tech employer cutting jobs.

And of course it has affected my punting habits. Hardly go anymore. Maybe 1 punt per fortnight max, sometimes none at all.

Punting is a major cost. It's the most obvious and easiest thing to cut down on that would give you the greatest saving.

To those that are still in a good position to punt, keep on punting and tell us about it!

I’m the guy that puts stickers on apples. You know, those little oval shaped barcodes to stop people from sneakily buying Granny Smiths at the price of Royal Galas.

As long as people keep munching apples, I’ve got a job

Since 30 years ago I moonlighted in photography while holding a full-time job. I was a lot younger then. Working in my small backroom as studio till 1 or 2am and woke up at 6am to go to work. I moonlighted 7 days a week working through all public holidays.

I paid a lot of tax. Hence I called it an early retirement and quit my full-time job to concentrate on doing what I enjoyed doing.

I hope no one need to go not through life working two jobs like a machine like me to have a decent nest egg.

I hope to eventually give up punting if my will and determination allow me.

Last week I gave my regular WL a Swarovski red ruby necklace at the end of the session. I left quickly not wanting to give her the chance to thank me. I like to thank her for putting up with my lust for two years. If she doesn't see me again that would be my farewell present.

But Sibon, not long ago you were broke and had to sell your car, I even offered you veges from my garden to have with your bowl of rice, and the wife and kids, how do they cope with your antics, what a man, what a crock of shit.........The sad thing is that there are some dumbfucks on the forum who believe your posts......

I work in the engineering field and my area of work is specialised so get a decent salary. But the wife does not work so gets a bit hard on one wage. I dont punt regularly but have been involved in the SB scene. This has been an eye opener for me and I spent a lot in the earlier months. Now I am limiting this to 1-2 meets a month which is more than what I can afford. I am not seeing anyone in Sydney as I hae to pay hotel costs. My meets are when I travel. I need to get a second job or find another income as its getting harder.
