It’s not other guys problem, it’s your own problem. Go to settings and select auto daylight saving time.

From the bottom of my screen:
All times are GMT +10. The time now is 03:29 PM.

So the problem is in your settings.

To be quite honest, I never really paid attention to the time when jumping onto this site haha, sometimes your just scrolling through reading up post from fellow punters and half an hour is gone.

    Just saying it nicely.
When I log in the time displayed is GMT +10.
When I am browsing before logging in, the time displayed is GMT +11.

To me, that sounds like a system default setting issue...

That's a good point. The forum should probably not use the user profile setting and just stick to what it thinks should be the timezone based on IP address.

This is probably based on the location of the server hosting the site.

When you log in, the software would adjust this to the time you select in your profile.

Exactly, the server is used internationally, they can’t set a default time for every country or for any particular country.

OK, it just happens to match with what AEDT time is then.

And that means the server wherever it is has set its timezone to...

Where is GMT 11 time zone?
    UTC−11:00 - Wikipedia
This time is used in Niue, American Samoa, Swains Island, and parts of the United States Minor Outlying Islands.

Probably set to the country it is for legal jurisdiction issues... lol

Don’t know about you, I didn’t have to do anything.
