Bro, at the end of the day, it comes down to preference. If you never liked cars or the feeling of driving a more luxurious car, then yes it would be a complete waste of money. But if you do enjoy it, and the extra money spent doesn't cause problems to you, you should just let yourself enjoy it. YOLO and all that stuff.

People have been partying and spending like crazy the last 18 months!
People were cashed up after spending nothing during covid and there is full employment and people can ask for higher wages because migrants/visas/students/tourists have not been coming in and people are keen to party and spend after covid and lock downs ... BUT ... we are almost at the end of this cycle.
High interest rates, high rents, migrants/visas/students/tourists starting to come in again and taking jobs and forcing down wages.
Partying will slow down in the next year.
But Asian brothels and R&Ts will continue to be super busy. Why?
Because opening up the borders to migrants/visas/students/tourists etc means lots more customers coming in.
Plus there are plenty of old Aussie guys still earning plenty of money from savings, Super, salaries, investments etc.
So bottom line is sex shops will continue to be super busy. it is still a sellers market

If shops are struggling it's their lack of talent not lack of punter demand.

It goes both ways. Many punters are feeling under pressure due to current economic situation and tightening their belts (i.e. not spending money a lot) rather than feeling very generous and visiting shops frequently to support the girls.

On the other hand, some shops have the same girls that don't generate much interest for punters. Many guys want new talent and some shops are busy because they have many new girls from overseas such as Japan currently working for them.

His corolla will probably keep going long after our prize rockets get burnt out. ( but I hear ya, the whine of a supercharger is a beautiful sound)
