Many are. I have a circle of contacts in the punting community and all tell me they are punting less due to 2 things price and performance.
And please enough with the " I've got a regular who gives me top performance at a great price because I am such a good client"
Most of my punting friends are not happy with a massage and just a RnT. Seems Wg's due to lack of clients are trying to charge more to fill the gap.
This strategy is common in the low season in Thai etc.
Little do they understand that if they drop their prices then by pure volume their earnings will increase. But they didn't get the A's and B's at school, more than likely.
So what does one do?
My strategy now: 2 x OS trips per year (usually June & Dec) to Phil/ Thai etc, 4 Footy & Fucking Trips to Sydney, when I get really horny - go to "proven" shop and take my chances and of course, regular use of Pornhub et al.
Apparently mental health professionals say to keep a positive and optimistic view on life you should always have something to look forward to in the near future - the trips OS and Sydney trips dispersed through out the year give me this.
So its usually 6- 8 wks before I know there's something good coming up.
For every problem there is a solution.
Hope my contribution gives food for thought for others so they can improve their punting experience. And remember ...if its crap WALK!

i think someone in here should organize a trip for us all to go to Thailand or PH for a get-drunk-fuck-or-be-fucked kind of experience. But alas, i don't know anything about Thailand nor PH.

There are posters on the board who have the knowledge & experience to organize this BUT getting people to agree on when, where, how long, $$ etc etc is too much of a hassle. Best to travel with a wingman who you know well and you share similar ideas on the finer details.I'd be down for this. Is there anyone here who is a party planner?

Yup - exactly what I have started - first trip to TH was in March for 3 weeks - looking at cheap flights for the next one - though never been to PH - may have to try that and compare.....

PAL ( Phil Airlines) are cheaper than others and trip is ok - manilla airport is not the best but if its just a stopover its ok.
Maybe look at PAL to manilla stay a week then Thai and then return home - my last trip to Phil got Bus flight return for 2.3k return.

You are conflating legitimate and illegitimate service prices here. But you are correct, Brisbane does not have anything comparable–at least that I'm aware of. I wonder why that is..

The question is, is the price the same for everyone? Maybe it reflects on you if they seem dear, maybe they’re trying to get you in particular not to do it

Read a review on this site, some punter reporting he’d paid 6 pineapples for FS.
I visited the same girl, a few weeks later. FS was offered at 4 pineapples.
I’m still paying 3 pineapples for Option 3, and 4 pineapples for option 4.
If asked to pay more….I politely decline.
I’ve also come across some girls, that are new to me, who take a different approach with pricing. They list the menu, then ask how much I’m willing to pay? I guess it’s a tactic…..try and maximise profit from the unwary? Personally, it puts me off….usually leads to some form of bartering process. I can’t be bothered with that….. it’s become a transaction, not a connection.
Obviously, it goes without say, the very best experiences I’ve had, money is never mentioned…..that’s when you’ve found a reg.
On a tangent; big price hike I’ve noticed, entry fee at certain shops?
Some are now asking $80-$90 for an hour. I tend to walk, unless there’s the carrot is too tempting?
Then I’m praying I’ve found a reg…..lol.
I've come across the girls who ask "how much am I willing to pay" and my response is "as little as possible". I follow up with "how much do you think your service is worth and what you are willing to do to earn it". What unfolds then is often interesting and at times entertaining, but as they commenced the negotiation process, I feel obliged to negotiate!
