Tax time is boom period for Sydney brothel as clients splash returns

According to Jess, a receptionist from The Gateway Club in Sydney, it’s actually right about now.

“Generally it’s after tax time because that’s when people have money to spend,” she said.

Jess gave news.com.au a tour of the brothel (which you can watch in the video player above) and revealed plenty of fun facts about what goes on inside the venue.

    Let’s start with the prices.

Basically, the longer you stay, the more you’ll pay.

    “It’s $240 per half-hour, 45 minutes is $300 and it’s $380 for an hour,” Jess said.

The club is open seven days a week, from 6pm to 6am on Monday and Tuesday, and then 24 hours a day from Wednesday onwards.

“I would say Thursday to Saturday are our peak times, generally from 10pm onwards,”

I seriously doubt that this tax time is going to be a boom period for any business, especially brothels
My level of sarcasm depends on your level of stupidity.

100% people wont be getting back as much as previous years and with the overall cost of inflation, people will be lucky to pay off their credit card debt that has built up just from doing grocery shopping.
So someone is trying to cash in on some free hopeful publicity,

One industry that seems to be doing well are airlines with many people travelling now. People are willing to pay for their holidays using their credit cards even if it will put them into further debt. I guess some don't care.
I don't think drug dealers pay tax

Yep, drug dealers and property developers are the ones that seem to be always ahead.
Ask Star or Crown casino..... they are still getting lots of shopping bags full of banknotes....

Fun fact from the training material of a big bank: The most common trace element found on bank notes is cocaine.

I'd say drug dealers have more ethics.

I worked at the Amex foreign currencies vault in the city many years ago, and we always wore white latex gloves and a face mask while handling the notes,
My gloves will be black by the end of the shift from the grime, but the greatest fear was getting sick from the bacteria especially SARS from Asian notes
