Followed a WL on IG and was surprised how much gifts she reveiced from customers when I looked through her stories. I am talking LV bags, Gucci, Channel perfumes, Iphones, all expensive shit. Whats going through the guys minds, whose bought these expensive shit for the girl. Do they think they will get special offer from the girl? Validation? Approval?

Yeah I did that once while I was working overseas. I’m not usually the one to shower my regular ML/WL with gifts. To be honest I don’t even like to tip. But I bought an expensive gift that one time while I was out with the WL on a date. Was it worth it? I don’t know. But the WL visited me at my place a few times, got to have BBFS. She even cooked for me. Was like having a GF for a while.

Now I was thinking in almost 3 decades of punting, I've never been asked for any gifts, let alone branded ones... But then, one memory came back. Long time ago, different shore, I'd taken a Kyrgyz girl (regular) to the cinema. We'd arrived early so were wandering around the mall. She wanted to look in a shoe story (yes, I know, what was I thinking?). Showed me a pair of knee high boots, saying "these are nice". I said, "you want, if they have in your size, I'll buy". I'm a sucker for high boots. They did and I did. $400 USD (but those were the days, less than a week's worth of per diem, so I'd eat rice for a couple of days). WHY I remember: after she went home, we kept in touch for awhile. We both remembered the boots. She said that she should have asked for the money and not the boots. Back home, no place to wear, and the cost would have bought her a small apartment in her village.
A PRC (long time regular) asked me to accompany her to a higher end store (above memory flashed back) but assured me she had the money to buy whatever she wanted. The problem was, no one would help her, everyone, including shop staff, looking down on PRC's. She was invisible, no help with anything even if she asked, totally ignored.
Fine, off we went. We entered the store a bit separately. Sure enough, she was ignored while all 3 shop girls flocked to me, asking "how can we help you, sir? what would you like, sir?", etc., etc. I just wandered around a bit, with all of them in tow. Again asked how they could help. I just said that I wasn't here to buy anything, but my wife was, pointing to the PRC. It was like flipping a switch. They ALL lit their afterburners and ran to help her. She was absolutely SWARMED. "Would you like to see that in a different size, different color, we have other styles..." She wandered around a bit with her entourage, then motioned that we should leave. Outside she said that after all that, she hadn't seen anything that she wanted to buy. But now she KNEW that store had nothing of interest, and she thanked me for being her escort.
PS: I lied. Another time, taking a PRC home, she asked if we could stop at McDonalds where she could get a Big Mac meal, with 2 (she had a sweet tooth) apple pies. What can I say, I caved and splurged.
When I was in Prague and wow, those girls there are really something beautiful. I digress, McDonalds was considered a big spend for some people there.
So I can relate to someone asking for that.
