Claire is european and japanese mix, she looks 80 percent european to me.
I find that in Asian + European mixes, girls tend to inherit more European genes especially if the father is European. Boys will inherit more of their mother's genes.
Even with Ariana from 42G, she mentioned her father being Nigerian. And because of that she looks more West African than Japanese.
If the father was Japanese then it is much more likely both girls would've looked more Japanese than the other race.
