Do we need that many massage parlours?

The business model of an established massage parlour setting up another branch in another suburb seems to be a good idea as you are just shuffling the same girls in different locations. They are several such examples you can find e.g. 84 Artarmon, 200 Stanmore, 227 North Strathfiled etc.

The most ambitious is the 84 Artarmon expansion into 161 Chatswood. I was told they had put as many as 19 girls in one day and extended the shift to 3 am.

Are new punters are increasing and how many more times a week you can punt?

Yes we do. Like doctors we have so many that are specialised in different anatomies - ENT, spinal, kidney, heart, neurology etc. Having many shops and breaking them down into MLs that offer different specialities help - NHJ only parlour, CBJ + FS parlour, special needs FS parlour and special kinks/request parlour.

And maybe one day there'll be a shop that services Indian only - the Indian folks will be happy and not complain about shops or girls being racist.

Funny enough we never see anyone complain that most Swedish massage are not performed by Swedes lol

Law of Demand and Supply works perfectly.
If demand drops, prices drop till business starts losing money then get bankrupted. If supply drops, high demand causes prices to rise.

For the shop owners it’s good to have multiple venues so they keep competitors out of their market.

You might know that in shopping centres, often one owner of hair salons would own 2 or more at the same centre under different names. This way, no matter where customers go for their haircuts the owner gets the revenue.

For a regular punter, the more choice the better. If your regular shop typically has the same 3-5 girls on roster, it's not going to be long before you've gone through all of them. Unless there is that one girl that you crave, there's always that need to find/try someone new. Especially if the girls are a bit average in service.
Ofcourse there is the chance that if you do try another shop, you can still come across the same girl if the shops are working in conjunction with each other. Which is what happened to me when I had thought I'd gone through all the girls at Top Ryde Massage and decided to try Parramatta Blossom, I ended up getting a girl that I'd already seen twice already. Even the receptionist girl got shuffled over there!

I hope the owners of the massage parlours read this and seize the opportunity for such unique business opportunity.

Suggestion for the name of massage parlour: Maharaja Delight.

If more and more are opening there must be a good demand for business. So good for them and even better for us!

Keep in mind that 8 out every 10 new small businesses (including brothels and massage shops) go bust and shut down in the first 3 years of trading. That statistics comes from the ABS and insolvency experts.

Dalit's Delight might be catchier and more accurate.

Generally they do not have the same number of beds, they have different trading hours, and the staff are usually different.

I think there are too many nail salons, frozen yoghurt shops, American junk food franchises, luxury brand stores, gyms.
I don't use any of them ever. If they all closed down it would have zero impact on me.
But clearly they exist because there is a demand for them and ditto for massage shops.

With all the subjects mentioned, each business category will be on the spectrum of totally shit to totally hit. Same goes for massage shops. The shit ones will struggle week to week just getting customers to return, whilst the good ones will continue to thrive and possibly expand. The recycling of shit parlors will change hands until someone knows how to run it well.

Business may seem easy but in reality, there are so many variables and considerations to account for.

I guess there’s two points here, one is established massage parlours opening up stores other suburbs and rotating the girls etc, generally just expanding the empire… then there’s suburbs where the entire main shopping strip is different parlours, giving punters a veritable feast of options to choose from in one convenient spot.
