Question Recommendation and tips for Georgetown Penang, Malaysia

Heading overseas to Georgetown Penang, Malaysia for work and wondering if anyone can recommend places to unwind.

Looking for Healthspa (like Babylon in city) or maybe somewhere to get a soapy massage. Don't mind FS if that's on the cards.

Any tips or recommendations would be much appreciated!

    1. About 1 km north of city centre there is an Indian restaurant that stays open til about 2 am. Across the street is usually 5 or so street hookers....sorry I don't know street name

    2. As in any other place in the world....just ask taxi driver 100% they will know where are the good parlours bars shops etc

Singleman forum has pretty good intel for South East Asia punting, especially Vietnam. Useless for Aussie intel though haha.

Here is a direct link to their Malaysia section:

    Enjoy and report back!

Last trip there I was tempted to try out the private scene but every agency I contacted was so busy during the weekend I got zero replies.

Prices were roughly RM150 per hour incall. That's AU$50. Many non-locals employed, the so called "local Malays" in their listings are likely to be Indonesians.

Recently it's gone up a little.

There might be some scammers around, you're right, but many operators have shifted their operations to Telegram. Can't just say they're all scammers there, lol...

A good place to get info on Malaysian punting, not just Penang, is Sammyboy forum. This is the section for Penang (should be fine with forum admin because this is for overseas use?):

For example, one of the bros on that forum mentioned this operator who uses both Wechat and Telegram, but they required a deposit. The bro said he had a good experience:

There are also walk-ups in the colonial style rundown hotels around the old part of town if you want to get down and dirty. I mean, their rooms are "not the best", it's usually very cheap, girls can be hit and miss, but you can sometimes get gems there. Old hotels like New Savoy Hotel... google it and look at what it looks like, that's the type of hotel you'd be looking for, old colonial building with a front courtyard you can park your car. There are a few of these all around town. EDIT: Make sure it says its a hotel cos some of these buildings are private property. Don't go barging into someones home looking for a paid root, lolll!

Also used to be "health centre spas" in the lower tier, more modern looking hotels. Talking about no more than 3-star hotels here. Walk into those hotels, look for a "health centre" or a "spa", go to the floor where its located at. If you can smell mouthwash or disinfectant in the air, there's probably action there.

Sometimes a very suss operation can popup suddenly in an apartment block somewhere, then disappear. I once had a hot Russian girl in one of those in an apartment block along Burma Rd. That was a weird but great experience!

PS: Don't forget to enjoy the great food in Penang when you're there!

I wouldn't bother making a trip onto those places. It's filled with granny's who are possibly addicted to crack. There's a similar place in Brickfields KL that a friend went to for a quick BJ while we waited for him outside, he said he couldn't even cum from that session. Maybe the SW was too ugly or something.

Best food is in Macalister Road in Georgetown. Don't bother going to Gurney Drive, it's cut throat there because only expats go there to get pissed. My favourite is Char Koay Teow, Rojak Penang, Bak Kut Teh, Curry Laksa and Assam Laksa. The best Assam Laksa can be found near the Kek Lok Si temple which is a bus ride away during the daytime. Bus only cost RM2 (less than AU$1) but comes every 30mins. Be careful of Grab (Uber) drivers, they see you dressed like a tourist and they'll hassle you to get into their car for an expensive ride.

You sound like a true Penang lang. good advice. Most of the old hotels, with masssge centres attached, have closed down. Think the New Savoy is the only one left in Georgetown. There are dozens of agencies operating girls in apartments. Mansion One is the busiest with lots of Indo and Vietnamese. Worth going across to Butterworth, or even BM, if you are adventurous and have the time. Just, as I said above, don’t get conned into paying online before meeting. If someone asks you for a deposit then it’s a scam.

From reading info elsewhere about Singapore, Sammyboy is not regarded as reliable due to bias toward favoured advertisers and censoring of negative reports.

I'm not really from Penang but I have done lots of travelling there. I remember going to the horse races up the hill in 2004 when the worldwide tsunami happened, phone had zero reception up in the racecourse while people in Georgetown were panicking because no one had experienced an earthquake before. No earthquake at the racecourse but from what I heard, it happened early in the morning around 8-9am and people were running out of their hotel rooms wrapped in a towel because they were in a middle of a shower.

When I left the racecourse my phone came up with missed calls notification and messages from family checking if I was caught in the earthquake.

Penang has a lot of Burmese these days, but most of them work in restaurants and hawker shops rather than escorting. You'd be lucky if you found an agency that supplies cute Burmese chicks. I believe there's plenty of bars you can pick up an escort or two in Gurney Drive, but then again prices are cutthroat as I previously mentioned.

I just realised this post, and all I can say is in Penang, "Indian" restaurants consists of almost 80% of restaurants in the whole state of Penang. Usually it's broken down into two types - banana leaf style Tamil cuisine (may or may not be Halal) and Halal mamak restaurants (mamak is a general term for Indian Muslims). Mamak restaurants are abundant in Penang as many Malays from the island would have some South Indian ancestry. Most mamaks open 24/7. If you're saying "an Indian restaurant" then it would be confusing as these mamaks are like mushrooms - many are very competitive and open side by side.

As for Malaysian taxi drivers, you might get lectured rather than shown the right place because they're mostly Muslim. Official taxis are red and white Proton cars. If you really want to ask the opinion of a "taxi driver" then hail a Grab car and if the driver is Malaysian Chinese he might point you to the right place.
