Unless you live in Japan and speak the language well, you can go along pretty well. Otherwise, you would have better Japanese punting experience in Sydney.

If you speak Chinese, I know a shop in Ueno run by Chinese that you can get decent service. Unfortunately most of the top shops do not accept foreign due to language barrier.

One tip especially if you are in Shinjuku - Avoid the dodgy black African guys who approach you on the street. They are scammers and dodgy as fuck! Just say 'no thanks" and move on. Do not shake their hand or engage in any kind of conversation with them.
Just like those annoying cunt backpackers in Sydney streets trying to get you sign up to some "charity" or "survey" or subscription or whatever they will always start off with a friendly line like "hi brother I like your shirt" or "hi brother where are you from" or "hi brother where are you going tonight" or similar bullshit. but pretty soon they will put the hard sell on you with a combination of bullying, intimidation, charm, guilt trip, false promises etc to lure you into a scam and a rip off.

I've done a bit of punting in Japan.

Full Service is a bit tough to come by, but there are places you can go to for blowjobs.

Shibuya Seafari (https://www.shibuya-seafari.com/) is foreigner friendly most of the time, and theres some girls there that are decent, with some boilers. If you don't have a bit of Japanese, you'll likely be assigned a boiler. I have bare minimum Japanese and manage to get a cutey sometimes. Don't expect full service, but a decent BBJ can be had there. Just... be ready for a very cramped environment. It's definitely an experience.

Theres Lovely Hand Shinjuku, https://lovely-hand.net/sp/systemSp.php?lang=en. Its a strange set up but also very foreign friendly, even with no Japanese. Go to the venue, choose a girl from a "menu", pay the money. You'll be escorted to a nearby love hotel and a few minutes later your chosen girl will arrive and off you go. The basic menu is just a hand job, but you can pay for extras at the office. Each girls menu is different. Technically, PIV is illegal and cant be advertised but... some girls offer an "anal" choice iykwim. However, menu options can really up the price as well. Quality of girls is amazing, generally 18-24 year old girls and some are stunning.

If you just want a bit of titillation, but no sex, you can try a few "oppai bars". I like them. You go in, get a small booth and 40 minutes. 4x 10 minute sessions. Generally 10,000yen ($100 at current exchange) for 40minute sessions, but if you subscribe to the shops twitter/email you get discount vouchers that make it about 6,000yen ($60). Each session a different girls comes out, you can chat with them, make out and basically take their tops off and play with/suck their tits (the rules are SUPER strict about no below the waist). Again, girls range from 18 -24ish. Each bar has different themes. School uniform is the popular one, but theres Office Lady, Bikini, Idol etc. The OLD and bikini ones tend to have mid 20's girls, while school uniform and idol theme is the 18-24ish. Some girls are fucking beautiful and honestly, $60 for the chance to flirt with make out with some college aged girls and some tit play isn't awful. If you have absolutely no Japanese you probably wont get through the door most of the time, but my very limited Japanese and proof I am on their email list usually gets me in 4 out of 5 times. I have managed twice to get a girls contact (technically a big nono) and gone out with them later for more fun. One was definitely a paid arrangement, but the other genuinely seemed to enjoy my company and besides paying for dinner and the love hotel fee, really didn't expect more. We still talk through Line. If the oppai bar tickles your fancy I recommend Ribbon or Miss Campus in Ikebukuro. I can give you the websites for them, but they block non Japanese IP's.

Theres also a small area behind Kabukicho full of well... street walkers. It's much more a walk on the dangerous side, both legally and health wise. It's more or less one block centered around a hospital (Okubo Hospital). On two of the streets some nights you'll see mostly Japanese girls, kind of loitering around on their phones, just... loitering. They won't approach anyone, but they are selling sessions at nearby hotels. You need to approach them, negotiate price and service. Most of them won't sniff at you if you can't speak Japanese/aren't Japanese. I STRONGLY recommend you not bother with them at all. Many of them are basically forced into it by being put into huge debts from various love scams, loan scams and host bar scams and others are runaways and possibly underage. Police have been trying to crack down on it recently. One of the other streets on the same block is wheres theres foreign women, mostly Thai and Vietnamese. These are adults and WILL approach you and some even be pretty pushy as well, such as grabbing your arm and all but walking you to the hotel. Prices can be negotiated from about 15,000yen up. Some of the women are pretty hot. Police aren't being as active in this area for some reason. Go at your own risk because again... they are street workers. This video: https://youtu.be/Oq5qDfVQB7M?si=VoSOwfekmD1o0jRh&t=397 shows the foreign worker area and the type of woman working. I definitely recognise one of them... ahem.

There are other areas around Tokyo, eg some back streets of Shibuya, where you might get approached by mostly older Chinese ladies offering "massagey" who can also be a bit aggressive. Don't. Just... don't. You WILL be ripped off badly.

Honestly, Lovely Hand is one of the better bets.

Bumble is good. You get a tour guide and someone to hang out with. Sure you buy dinner etc but it's not that much in the scheme of things.

Lived in Japan for a few years.

Punting in Japan is 10x better than Sydney if:
    - you speak Japanese
    - are or can pass for Japanese
    - are cashed up

If you can't at least speak Japanese there are very few providers that cater to English speakers - you're better off here. Remember Japan is a relatively rich country of 100mil - they don't need to cater for foreigners to make cash.

If you are Asian and can speak a bit of JP Osaka might be better. Tobita Shinichi - google it. You can walk the streets and view the girls and they'll call you in if they're open to foreigners.

In Tokyo I think you should still try your luck.
Cityheaven - the largest advertising site for 'fuzoku' (adult entertainment) now has an english site. Note that the places even here will still want you to speak some Japanese.

    https://chn.cityheaven.net/en/

The Japanese version of the site has pics that the girls post - like a social media feed. Had a few girls posting after seeing me talking about their first time with a foreigner.

It's easier to get escorts / outcalls or 'deriheru' than it is finding a place to go to. If you don't want to get an escort, soaplands in Yoshiwara may be a good bet. I think getting a love hotel and having a girl sent there to you may be a step above what you may be able to do.

Another advertising site in English (with much less advertisers) is Tokyo Night Style

    https://tokyonightstyle.com

    ---

    Tips:
    - Daijoubu = OK
    - call ahead and call around. Ask if 'gaijin daijoubu desuka' (are foreigners OK?)
    - ask if 'Eigo daijoubu?' (English OK?)
    - Jushou = address. If you're getting deriheru (delivery health aka an escort) they will ask for your address. Try to learn the Japanese for numbers and understand the way Japanese address work. They are often a combo of numbers and the area like this - 3-22-1 Nishi-Shinjuku. (San no Ni-juni, no Ichi, Nishi-shinjuku)

    ---

As an aside it seems like a few girls from this deriheru shop in Shinjuku called Gingira girls, have come to work at Ginza Empire in Sydney.

    https://gingira.jp/gal.html

They specialise in 'gyaru' types or dark skinned / shibuya styled long finger-nailed gangsta girl types. You can tell they've come from Gingira as they always reuse their glamour shots from there at Ginza.

I guess most blokes who want to punt in Japan would also be into JAV. Take a walk around some parts of Tokyo or Osaka, you'll be faced with huge ads for soaplands with girls looking just like in the JAV. It's really tempting!

Alas for me, in four trips there I've never been without either a wife or a GF, lol...
