Crows Nest- new shop?

Wandering around Crows Nest today, I spotted a DA notification for 340 Pacific Hwy:
Use of premises as sex service premises with operating hours 10 am to 10 pm 7 days per week.

Looked like a 2 storey fit out with about 7 or 8 rooms. A relocation of an existing shop, or new business?

Is that the Upmarket Bathhouse? Next door to Cutty Cellars, so you can pick up some good craft beers afterwards.

That’s very interesting. Upmarket Bathhouse has been trading since 1990. They have a licence. There used to be a laundromat on the ground floor facing the highway.

When they started, they had 3 rooms only and girls lined up for every punter. Then they opened more rooms on the ground floor when they built an internal staircase.

Every room had a spa and punters usually sat in then with their chosen naked ML before the massage started. Prices were inclusive of nude HJ and often B2B at no extra cost for regulars.

Always had a ton of clean white towels to dry down after showers.

In the early days, almost all girls were Caucasian.
