Don't do it, the market price is at least $100000 and if you have assets etc you are in big trouble.
I’ve been approached by an ex-WL to sponsor her for PR under a subclass 820 Partner visa.
Does anyone have any experience they could share with:
1. Market price for how much the girl should pay for sponsorship
2. Timing of payment instalments and milestones
3. Methods to protect your own assets eg pre-nup
4. Whether you went down marriage or registration of de facto or proved 12 months of cohabitation
Pms are welcome if sharing sensitive info
Cheers gents

Going rate seems to be somewhere between $20k and $50k
Absolutely crazy.
Just be careful though, the girls know they can raise a DV accusation against you, and if you're cohabiting they will get a DVO can you cannot get to your own house. Her word against yours and court always sides with the woman.
100% well discussed loopholes in the various FB groups the girls ask for advise on.
You can only sponsor once every 5 years, is it worth it?
Sure, sounds like a great idea.
Jokes of course. Delete her contacts, stop seeing her and run for the hills. You will fuck yourself up something shocking if you go ahead with it. RUN.
Run as fast as you can I remember the stories of Aussie guys marrying a Russian brides back in the 90s, the visa bride moves in his house then calls the cops on the guy when he has not done anything and claims assault. The guy loses his house and half of everything he owns. I suggest you break off with her whilst you can to much risk. Also if your caught lying about your marriage spouse visa to her being legit marriage you can get in a lot of trouble with the Government.
The ex ML I was dating only offered herself as the prize, no money, you can bet that’d last a day if that.
Edit: the ML has unblocked me. So who knows.
For myself, it'd be a QUICK "no thanks". Bottom line, you're falsifying government documents, and (no personal experience), but a fraud conviction would seem to have, if not a lifetime, certainly long negative life effects (governments tend to have LONG memories for federal offenses). Not exactly something I'd want on a job application... Who's to know? Maybe no one, but then again, do you want a sword hanging over your head...
Heard a few stories back in the days when I was frequenting the Stanmore shop.
A few MLs in and out of the shop at the time were in certain arrangements. One example was a guy who basically was a working class, renting and not much assets. The large sum was a magical $20k, payable in different stages of the application. They share rent, share expenses, unlimited free sex at home. And no question asked. Don’t know if the ending was a happy one or nasty one, wasn’t around long enough to find out.
Another story was a young Thai girl with a young Aussie guy who were seemingly very much in love and the guy would drop the Thai ML to work at the Eros Wattle St, the incident was reviewed as part of an AR.
I’m sure these sort of thing are still happening around us.
Good luck to them all.
Cheers
Just wondering why you consider to sponsor her? Any strong chemistry? Is she really pretty and hot, etc etc.
I'm just curious, because it's not really easy to sponsor someone. You need to provide a lot of evidence, pics, text, testimony from people around you, and you might need lawyer i think, even after the payment it's not a guarantee i supposed?

and I might add just hope the spouse visa ML don't get pregnant from another punter and then she claims the baby is yours. Your fucked up for good then.
Why people would go to such lengths to be able to reside permanently in such a high COL place is sometimes beyond me.
5 years after the first sponsorship but yes twice in a lifetime though you can make an application to waive the 2 sponsorship restriction on your 3rd+ sponsorship but its really difficult to do so.
Given I don't think the cash payments would be reported for taxes, besides fraud, that's tax evasion. Those tax evasion charges seem to be easier to prove in court (just ask Al Capone).
Scenarios:
- You run afoul of an acquaintance, he drops a dime (which shows how old I am)
- She runs afoul of an acquaintance, or perhaps a jealous one, a dime is dropped
- You're just John Smith, average, HER authoritarian government takes note of her status, asks her to provide details. No problem. 10 years from now, you have that nice government position, contract, or maybe in security, even some financial institute (where personal integrity is VALUED). Said government reaches out to YOU... "Hi, we know what you did...". Sure, the stuff of TV melodramas. BUT, those background checks, there's a reason they're looking for adverse behavior. If she's a PR, what power does her government have on her? "How's your Mom doing... or, how well will she be doing..."
- If she gets caught, on the list for deportation, banning... how loyal will she be?
Sure, fiction for sure, until it isn't...
I'd ask if the short term financial gain is worth the long term risk? Statue of limitations?
Only do this with a girl who has never been a WL/ML.
These days when you apply for the visa Stage 1 and pay almost $9k minus agent fees. They don't even look at it for 2 years. You have a Appy for Stage 2 after 2 years. This is so to prove you're still together. The whole process takes maybe 4 years+ these days.
OP never responded, might already made up this mind. He's at least open the idea since he's actually not asking if he should do it or not, but rather how is it done. God bless...
