"The successful guy will take away a girl for a date !!"
Nah, Im sorry
Australians dont beat around the bush like this
Too tame. A date ? This is why dating games in Australia wont rate.
Australian radio invented something called
Two Strangers and a Wedding
It was a controversial radio competition, where a man spoke on radio (with
no photos being released), and women called in if they were interested, just based on his voice and his personality (based on several interviews on radio)
The successful lady had to get married to that man, on the day that they meet, to win the competition prize (expensive holiday and lots of money)
Over 300 women applied to join the competition, and to meet this man
As it turned out, the successful woman committed to marrying the man, on the day they met

Newlywed strangers Leif Bunyan and Glenn Emert
SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA: Newlywed strangers Leif Bunyan and Glenn Emerton kiss by Sydney Harbour 04 September, having met for the first time at their wedding only moments earlier.
The two, who had never spoken nor seen a photo of each other, won a mystery marriage competition run by a local FM radio station which had received 90 applications for the groom and over 300 entries for the bride
After a week-long honeymoon in Paris the pair will spend Valentine's Day 1999 in Antartica

"God she's beautiful," he breathed. "I couldn't have picked a better bride ..."
But after that, he seemed at a bit of a loss.
It was difficult to go on and on about someone he had only just met on the altar steps, when all he knew was her star sign and the fact that she had clean underwear.
"Her personality's just so nice," he added, diplomatically.
The sponsors of the radio station, 2Day FM, who supplied the wedding gowns, the suits and the honeymoon on the other side of the world, said that in an age when a third of Australian marriages ends in divorce, this perfectly matched couple may be better off.
