Just thought I'd let you know it is easily possible to enjoy some good fun in Singapore on a 4 hour stopover.

Clear customs - 10 minutes
Taxi to Geylang - 20 minutes
Wander around, make a decision - 20 minutes
Service with very cute erotic Thai girl - 60 minutes
Meal & beer - 20 minutes
Taxi back to Changi - 20 minutes
Back through customs - 5 minutes
Board flight.

Total damage including taxis, sex, food was S$150 about AUD $135.

I could probably do it quicker next time but I would be nervous to achieve it on a three hour transit.

it depends on the time of the day. Finding a taxi at Changi might take longer. The good thing is that Geylang is among the closest suburbs from the airport

I walked around Larong 8 for starters and wandered the streets. I was probably a little early in the day ~4pm so not too much choice.

I wouldn't waste any time on streetwalkers unless I've got a plenty. Well I've done it only once. The damage was $30 and it got me to some shady room not far from Geylang Rd. I took a shower while she took off her clothes. Off we went with some nice bonking there but when I asked her to change the position she decided that the time was up! It was around 10 minutes after we came to the room. Then she got dressed and disappeared. Oh well! I took a shower, got dressed, and found my way back to Geylang Rd and there she was waiting for the next "client". I gave her a smile and waved goodbye. It was 9am and the temperature was around 30.

Having lived in Singapore for a considerable amount of time, I would say yes it is hard to find genuine Singaporeans in that scene, unless one has the wealth to go for social escorts.
The 'Singaporean' ladies I have seen in Sydney so far (in all fairness, limited to 3 only, but enough to put me off my search) are all from China, or the neighboring Malaysia

Not so mate.In my opinion,and experience,Geyland has a plethora of brothels. Every street has them.Just walk in,survey the fishbowl,make your pick,pay the desk,upstairs and into it. If you do not like that fishbowl,go next door,another fishbowl,another 10 girls to check out and so on etc.Damage for westener $80-$100SGD.Or the street scene is enormous,hundreds to choose from,chinese,indian,thai mostly.But fucking pimps everywhere,pushy rude pricks.
