Good question. I've wondered the same. Would be a big cash business. Yes - you would need a BN - you couldn't get a lease without a business number. Wouldn't have to register for GST if receipts less than $75K per year. potential for tax savings if you also have a job. Don't need to spell that one out. I think it depends on location as well. That would be luck of the draw. If successful then duplicate like a lot of the young Mamasans who have more than one shop. License, well as our friends above have stated - not essential.

You mightn't need a licence, but you would need a DA approved by the council concerned, and some of them aren't too happy with "massage" shops, even legit ones.
