Its something most of the shops have refrained from do for good reason.

Its a punters post not a shop started thread so fair game for any shop to post in.

Tp64 let's the girls smoke in the rooms. For that reason I don't like going there.

Maybe with the renovations they have lost the landing at the top of the previous stairs with the open window where the girls and Roger used to smoke. I never found any problems in the rooms before the renos.

Would the girls now have to go down the side stairs and stand outside to smoke? That isn't going to work, night or day! Is there a room there with an open window there where the girls who smoke can do it? 88% of the population don't smoke now, which means almost 9 out of 10 punters visiting probably don't want to have to.

Be careful commanderM mate, I've known people who just had the occasional smoke, a small cigar, or a borrowed roll your own after a meal or something like that. But the odd "social" smoke is like a pilot light simmering away. Then BANG! something goes amiss in your life and suddenly you are knocking back 20 or 30 a day for "comfort." But if something goes wrong in the life of someone who doesn't smoke at all, they never think of taking it up!

It happened to two friends of mine. They are well and truly over the incidents 20 years ago that turned them from occasional "social" smokers into Titanic's chimneys.



And 20 years later they still are at it. Occasional smoking is like lighting candles in a dynamite hut.

It is good if 64 could keep a tight control on the atmospheric smoke, I feel sorry for Sophie and the other girls who don't smoke. It is their workplace and they have to be there.
