It appears according to the court record that his next appearance is on the 3rd of November at 10am.
The recruiting a child offence is punishable by up to 10 years. The grievous bodily harm with intent is up to 25 years. He could get 35 years technically.
A recent example was a man who cut & stabbed his wife with a machete, seriously hurting her, he got 9 years.
With both charges here and the pretty heinous nature I would hope he doesn't get anything less than 10 years.
