As a Corporate Banker and partial business owner, I don't see any reason why you should restrict yourself from spending on punting.
The title pretty much suggests what I'm after. So the collective thoughts of other bros would be much appreciated.
First off started not long ago, thought it would be nice to try something new, no regrets so far.
So a bit of an intro.
Age: 23 turning 24 this month.
Nationality: ABC
Zodiac: Dragon
Occupation: Corporate Banker and partial business owner
Monthly punting budget: approx $2400 (currently)
Reason for punting: stress relief? (I dont smoke, rarely drink. - these are other methods of relief so I have been told)
So starting off, Don't have Girlfriend or wife. Although some would say they would be the solution to minimizing the regularity of when one would punt, others disagree. Work the best part of 7 days a week and still feel the need to punt, suppose im still not fully occupied haha.
What I'm searching for is ideas on how other bros manage their budget, I suppose this varies depending on your line of work. Also searching for alternatives to punting,
friend suggested just waiting on diablo3 which is still a little while away. Not sure if anyone is still into computer games haha.
I suppose I'm not constrained to a mortgage yet,
although quite frankly I don't think it's the right time to buy at present. Have term deposits and what not, no shares as my trading activities are regulated and limited by the bank.
Another possibility is further study , however being unable to study in the field I want has diverted and kept me away from this field ( would like to study CA however limited to CFA).
If anyone can further add to possible alternatives, it would be much appreciated , it's just something that has been dwelling on my mind for sometime. I suppose I lack self control.
Thanks.

Add $400 for a month.
And there you are, you get 10Hours at 5*.
(Wilisno would absolutely agree with this)
If you have set $ budget for a month then there are no more problems for you.
Just don't go over the budget. Even once. For any reason.
Some interesting ideas have been noted so far, many thanks.
Affordability of the current budget is not an issue, but Im trying to put it to better use, probably staying away from anything punting related.
Zumba sounds like a great idea, some work colleagues have mentioned the advantages of Zumba on taking up Zumba, great way to keep in shape.
Bro, you aren't married I guess. But give all your money to your wife and tell her to only give you $300 per day so you can only see one girl.
Get a second passive income, you're already a part owner in a business. Why don't you start another business? If all else fails start gambling, that's what I do for the extra cash to spend.
I'm not sure why but discretionary spending is at an all time high, must be because of the recession that never happened. Maybe open up a Chatime or EasyWay. Boost Juice seems to do well but most of the franchisee's I speak to say the royalties and cost of rent is too high. Gambling is the cheapest option you have, zero overheads. Just open up a Bet365 account with your credit card and away you go. Study up on moving money lines, point spreads, under/over's, team histories, player injuries etc and you'll have a better than 50:50 chance which is where you really want to be. Don't be disheartened by a few losses just keep playing your strategy and it should pan out well in the long run. I started will a small bank roll of $2K now to date I'm sitting at around $32K. Today I withdraw about $800 every week for my punting, I'm way ahead. Who said gambling isn't a viable profession.

Good for blind bets when you can't be bothered doing your own research.
I can remember reading somewhere not so long ago of a chap who lost his house and his wife and family got thrown out in the steet cause he spent all the money on punting (wl type punting that is) so it does and can happen.
It seems to me that you need to decide whether punting is a leisure activity or a way of life.
Spend too much time punting and not enough time socialising in the real world and you'll run the risk of losing touch with what it takes to be a normal boyfriend, brother, husband or friend.
Money will never do all the talking in real world.
