Paying for mate - credit card over the phone

Hi All,

Are there any FS shops out there in Sydney that accepts credit card payment over the phone or have some online payment facility? I want to book a session for a mate of mine!

Don't know of any places that do this (they may well do but I've never done it myself). Another option (depending on who is managing things) could involve you just paying cash in advance of the session and have your mate confirm that it's for him on arrival. I don't know for sure, but I reckon Wilson would be nice enough to arrange this.

If a shop accepts credit card payment, I can't see why they can't do it over the phone ?

Online payment is a different thing, most shop's websites are unattended.

Remember the surcharge is around 10% even if they do. I doubt they would due to worry regarding stolen cards etc.

Assuming you're going to use a prepaid Visa, rather than your own personal credit card? Last thing you want is a record of a purchase at a knock shop being tied to your actual real-world identity... in perpetuity! (And yes I know that most places would use an innocuous name as the biller, but still!)
