Advice - The ideal massage shop - one to die for.

    Hi fellow Sydney members,
I am investigating setting up a shop. I want to make it the best there is. Want to make it a destination for you guys. I need your help.

Could you answer a few questions:
    - Where would be the best place to set one up? CBD, residential, light industrial, other? Why?
Ok the shop is now setup.. location the best there can be.

    - What is important for you (physical shop)?
    ---- Shop layout?
    ----- Reception?
    ----- Rooms?
    ----- Music?
    ----- Table?
    ----- Decor?
----- Oil important? (a lot of shops use cheap homebrand baby oil)
----- No showers a show stopper?
    ----- Why?

    - The girls
---- What skills should they have?
Is massaging important or are extras everything?
    ---- What nationality?
    ---- What attitude?
---- How do you like to be greeted?
---- Age of the girls? 18 - 25 or older?

    - Costs
    ---- Massage?
    ---- Extras?
---- What are you prepared to pay for the types

Thanks I really appreciate your feedback

Are you an industry person ? Or have you been a punter ?

If the answer is " yes " to the questions, then you should know the answers already ! If the answer is " no ", then don't bother, there is a lot more tricks involved than you can get from the forum !

Unless the purpose of this thread is for pre-advertising only !

    Hi brother Wil,

I think this one day old member is a phoney!!

On one side all the big talk about wanting to be the Best !!

On the other hand he was asking a basic 101 question like :

    No showers a show stopper?
    ----- Why?

So I won't be wasting my on him, apart from caling him out, he's just a BS artist I think !

Remember that survey of some sort earlier on ? I think they may be related !!

If others brother have nothing better to do, go ahead !

Just my half a mil cents !

No, Yamada is not smart enough to ask others for advice, or listen to the advice or others, he thinks he is so good he can do everything his way and sucess will follow. Not even Max, who thinks he is the smartest person on the forrum, could keep Yamada under control ...

Dude if you are seriously going to do this you should work as a receptionist in a place for a while to learn the ropes, otherwise you will probably lose your money.

I think the most important things are:
    - identify what market segment you are after
    - get good girls
    - provide value for money
    - advertise on Syd99
Note an essay could be written for each of the first three points.

If it was easy everyone would be doing it!

Having said all that I reckon there is a need for an asian place on George st around Chinatown that has decent showers, there is alot of pentup demand there and the budget no shower places are soaking some of it up. Another thing you could do is rent out your rooms for a reasonable price to the public for short stay accomodation

Not sure why Ahlungor is being so hostile and negative, usually he is friendly and helpful to new memebers.

Haha, me ! Hostile and negative !

And i can't believe you actually think he is genuine ! If he is a RnT punter, he won't be asking those questions that's for sure !

And if he is not a punter but a business man or a student or journalist! Then why do you want to help him ?

    I won't !

And I am saying this in a really friendly and polite manner ..........lol

Ahlungor is entitled to his opinion as much as I am to mine, no animosity on my part and I have taken his comments on board.

I have been in business before and failed before, a few times. It is always important to ask the clients, customers what they think and take their valuable advice. You are the customers and yes I could ask one or two their opinion BUT this forum and the wide opinion of this forum is what I am after. The short stay accommodation idea is a good one.

    Thanks for you valuable advice.
