Punting budget?

I started what I think is probaly a bad precedent using my credit card to pay for a punt that I didn't have money for until next week! I won't incur interest but there is a 10% surcharge...

So how many brothers have a budget and if you do, how often do you break it? Do you use Credit cards, etc.

i've set my budget around $150-250 a week. this is all disposable income that would have otherwise gone to alcohol,gambling,clubbing.
