Well done Billy Slater and the Queensland Maroons have won a hard fought Game I in Sydney .

When Queensland was dominating with players like Lockyer, Smith, Thurston, Cronk, Slater and G.I. They were simply too good and NSW had no chance until this group of future immortals all retired then NSW won the next three out of four series,

Now, Billy is back as the coach with Cameron Smith and JT as assistant helping , will this be the second coming of the Queensland Dynasty but in coaching instead of playing ?

When I first arrived in Australia all those years ago, I first landed in Eagle Farm and lived and worked in Brisbane , so I was a Queensland origin. My first contact with Rugby League was a State of Origin match when Big Mal was the captain. Been a Queensland supporter ever since.

When I first moved to Sydney in 1985 I picked Parramatta as my side, and the following year in quite the most boring gf in history they saluted. "Great" I thought, "I could get used to this!"
Since then they have done nothing, NOTHING, but build up hope in their long suffering supporters hearts only to squash it like a cockroach, rip our still beating hearts from our chest and throw it to the dogs to use as a chew toy.
So please, for the love of jeebus, do NOT pump up their tyres, ignore them and write them off as much as humanly possible, don't even mention their name. They are that most abusive of partners, they suck you in, make you fall in love with them, whisper sweet nothing's in your ear, then tie you to a chair, beat you with a stick then make you watch while they kill Bambi...

You also only have to look at the NRL ladder right now to see three of the top four teams are supplying the bulk of the Queensland players in Melbourne Storms, Cowboys and Broncos ! To know that Queensland is in good shape.

Watched the women state of origin last and the players were incredible. NSW got the chocolates. Good on them.

Noticing the players physique so tone, fit with great booties. As the game grow each year. Great sport to watch if you like this type of ladies body type.
