Totally agree. It'll be a shame if they win the cup somehow.
I think it can only happen if Belgium knocks out France.
Even the least exciting of the recent world cups (2002) was eventually won by the team which were the favourites and most deserved.

I was in Moscow watching France play. They just too good.

They have still not played a top 10 ranked team.
In fact the first top 10 team they will face will be in the Final (ie Belgium or France)
Group stage they played Tunisia and Panama who both rubbish teams.
Then played Belgium but it was a dead rubber.
They lost that game probably deliberately and were rewarded for their loss by landing in the easy half of the tournament thus avoiding all the top teams.
Then they played Colombia who are a very undisciplined team and their top forward Jaime Rodriguez didn’t play due to injury.
Even then they only managed to win because of a dubious penalty on Kane and only after extra time and penalty shoot out.
Then they played Sweden a very average team who basically just defend and have no quality forwards.
Now they face Croatia who are a pretty good team but are physically and mentally exhausted after two extra time penalty shoot outs in a row and many top players carrying injuries.
They must be the luckiest team in the history of the World Cup.

Well England’s luck finally ran out.
As soon as they came up against a half decent team they failed.
It’s a miracle England got as far as they did.
They are a very average team.
Any team on the other side of the draw would have knocked them out in Round of 16.

Agree! I couldn't be happier. Eng lost respect when they 'played' to be on the weaker side of the draw. I don't think they would have won this Belgium side anyway. Now they will have to play them again.lol

I think if you tell the England fans at the beginning of the World Cup that the three Lions will reach the Semi final - they will more than happy to take that!

But of course when all the other more fancy teams fallen by the way side and England deep into the tournament, they started to dream ! Don’t we all ?

Well, back in 2006 we were beaten by Italy, they went on the win the Cup. We were basically eliminated by France in game I so perhaps fittingly that France shall win this time?

Well, that’s betting with confidence for sure and probably the reason why some punters like yourself can win big. Of course I would not have the $2K to bet on a win like you did, may be $200? To win the 2K........ lol

But I would be normally quite chicken by this stage and put in an insurance back like another $200 on Croatia, like an each way bet so I won’t ended up with nothing ? Sorry , just me.
