On a more positive note , Champion mare Winx will Not be going to England and race against the world’s best at Royal Ascot - she will attempt to win her 4th straight Cox Plate though.

    Thoughts ?

4 Cox Plates will make the her the greatest of all time.
You could argue she already is, but 4 Cox Plates will settle the argument once and for all.

Very true and full credits to her group of owners and Chris Waller who clearly put the horse’s welfare ahead of international fame.

But then again, as a racing spectator, it’s a little bit disappointed that we don’t get to see Winx beating the world’s best like Black Caviar in England and Better Loosen Up in Japan !

Ps. Like winning the Ashes in England?.......... haha

Imagine finishing work at your regular day job and then you get a call to fill-in a spot for a profession NHL team that same night.

This 36 year old accountant played 14 minutes of professional hockey after the 3rd backup goaltender got injured during the game. He made 7 saves and was recognised as one of the best players of the game. He goes back to his regular the job and to his beer-league hocket team the next day.

Zlaatan Ibrahimovic makes his debut for LA Galaxy at the age of 36 after coming back from a ACL injury. Takes out a full page add in the LA times which simply says "Dear Los Angeles, you're welcome, Zlatan". He comes on in the 70th minute and this happens.

Ryder Cup stalwart Patrick Reed vs Rory Mcilroy final round US Masters.
Fascinating showdown. Patrick looking for his first major and Rory to complete
    the grand slam.

Dat atmosphere at Anfield on Thursday morning:- https://streamable.com/6xgks

Reminds me of Wales v Austria in the European World Cup Qualifiers - crowd sings the Welsh anthem and just when it ends, an 18 year old scores a screamer for his first goal and the winner for Wales:-

Patrick Reed has won it, Spieth shot a -8 and just felt short, my $20 was on him. Best Aussie Cameron Smith tied for 5th at -9 with Mcilroy.

St George and the NZ Warriors remain unbeaten after 5 rounds, they look like the real deal in 2018!

But the most surprised team has to be the Tigers, 4-1 to start the season and most importantly, beat the Melbourne Storm twice , are they that good or the Storms were so poor? Losing Cronk could be much bigger a deal than they would admit but the rest of the team just looked very un-Melbourne like. And the Broncos and Cowboys ! The Queensland teams are in big trouble early in the season.

This might as well be an Aussie Games !

Although we are not beating much, but winning over England , Canada and the Kiwis aint bad at any time ! Oh and South Africa!

Still, not one of our guys made it to the 100 metres track and field final!

Swimming and Cycling though is a different matters.

The only people who care about the Commonwealth Games are old white people who like to reminisce about Colonial Britain.

Just listen on the radio when AJ got Tracy Wickham on the phone. When Tracy won Gold way back in Brisbane, she received her medal from the Queen! Wouldn’t that be something?

I grew a beard and am considering converting to Islam cos of this guy. Not really, but yeah.

Salah la la la. The Egyptian King

Also lol @ Barca knocked out on away goals, and Liverpool have now progressed further in the Champions League than Coutinho.

They haven’t done much with the bats so far in SA anyway.
    no Bancroft either obviously.
Hope the Aussie selectors stick with Sayers; rkn (even at that pace) he'll be deadly with the Duke ball in hand in England!

I'm so happy i didn't bet on Barca to advance - they don't seem to have the magic that they once did
