I have started to use wechat a lot more now and there are so many accounts that pop up in the 'people nearby' feature - some are agencies (with different accounts), some are scammers, and some are private. I try looking for more info here but wechat threads seem to be scattered all over the place. So I thought we should try to put it all into a neat single thread where all the info can be found. I will post what I have and hope others can contribute. If the info is verified, I will edit this first post and add to it. So here we go:

So tell me. What happens with the payment via iTune receipt. Do they make you pay first before you even meet face to fave and then ignore you ? Who would be silly to make a payment before meeting up first?

The usual story is that they're a student doing this type of work part-time for some extra cash. They tell you where to meet them (which coincidentally is near a 7-11 store), and when you say you've arrived, they ask you to go buy a receipt from 7-11 before they will come down to meet you. The excuse will be along the lines of they are afraid you are police or that you will give them fake money. If you do buy the receipt, they will ask that you send a photo of it to them, and once they get the barcode, then you'll never hear from them again.

Not sure if these accounts are even based in Australia, as the addresses they give are sometimes out-dated or inappropriate (like an office building).

Yep, they have real pictures but they are very pricy. Some girls can fetch up to $500.
