    Hotel by the hour

Has anyone tried this place in Pitt St recently?

I recall some reviews a long time ago that weren't too flattering, but maybe it has improved since?

Got a need for it next week.

I need it in the middle of the day, most CBD hotels won't take check-ins then.

Depending on the day, there is not much around at that price last time I checked.

I might get embarrassed about checking out a couple of hours after I check in.

I won't want more than 2 hours due to the circumstances.

It's more embarrassing checking into a love hotel than to check out 2 hours later in a normal hotel lol

You can ask for early check-in, if the room is available it shouldn't be a problem.
As for checking out, you don't need to. You can pay the bill when you check-in or when you book online and ask hotel to charge your credit card if there is anything else. You can just throw away the room swipe access card when you leave.

Notwithstanding the logistics of getting into a normal hotel (sorry Mr G, but your room not quite ready yet, etc), I have enjoyed the benefits of love hotels in Japan, and just wanted an opinion on this particular place.

I used to go to motels, cheaper and more convenient. Pre-booked the room on-line, drive up there with the girl, park in front of the room, nobody's watching you.....

There is a budget hotel chain that's all automated.
They are not staffed at all.
    You prepay online.
You self check in and are issued a swipe card or pin.
You get access to your room and when you are finished you self check out.
