What's everyone listening to at the moment?

2 things I love in this world: rooting, and beefy riifs. I'm stoked you're tapping into hardcore, but I'm frothing for when you plug into downtempo and beatdown.

A quick google of downtempo, and I saw Massive Attack and Portishead. I grew up on the Mezzanine album, fucking top shit. Portishead too. Haven't got much into newer groups, but at a stretch..... I like Flumes live sets.
I am checking out beatdown.
I am quite eclectic with my taste in music.. I really like Immortal, Strapping Young Lad, DJ Shadow, Jurassic 5, Ray Charles, Killswitch Engage, Pink Floyd, DJ Screw.... the list and variety is endless! But I dont like country....and the eagles.

Pure perfection.
Whenever I despair at just how stupid, violent, racist, and greedy, us humans are this is one of my go to albums to pick myself up and remind myself that maybe us homo sapiens are a species worth saving and shouldn't join the dinosaurs and dodos and woolly mammoths.
Cole Porter's lyrics are so witty and his melodies so sublime and Ella's vocals are just so beautifully perfect

Still the best thing Parkway ever did. I remember seeing them support Hatebreed at the Gaelic Club innnnnnnn, I'm gonna say 2005? They only had the EP out and were the first band on. Crowd was empty, and they came out and just completely destroyed it. Jeff played the taps during that epic breakdown towards the end of the song with the guitar behind his head. When that last riff hit, you know the one, "....bloodstained memories", fuck, me and my mates looked at eachother like who the fuck are these guys!?
