Some sweet warm ethereal melodic prog house.

Also been listening to a few podcasts from The Dollop and The Joe Rogan Experience.

Tunes of interest off the new album....
By and Down the River - already said it, but haunting as hell.
Eat the Elephant - title track. Is pretty fucking good. Is very fucking good.
    Disillusioned - another killer.
The Doomed - first track released last year from the album.

In as much as Thirteenth Step had alot of bowed instruments that added depth, Eat the Elephant uses the piano to take the songs so much further. On Disillusioned, at one point it's Maynard with just a few very simple keys being played. Then the same keys minus vocals. I got goosebumps the first time I heard it.

    It was epic.
In Auckland.... the distortion was reminiscent of Jimi Hendrix. Ear bleeding uber.
I remember everyone head banging to Deliverance..... it was a surreal, almost family like experience.
One of the highlights of my life.

    Sorry, a rather lugubrious choice.

See, I lost a friend this week, a good friend of 30 years...

So gents (and ladies), please, if you're struggling with something, let someone know. Ask for help. No man is an island...

    Now back to my drink...
