Good luck with that real estate though.

Trent from Slingshot organised the release at a cinema ages ago. It was great.

Love how they only show one producer. You only need one, Premo the GOAT.

Watched Scratch last night. Cool doco. Got talking to a mate about it for hours afterwards. And like many of the artists, a young teenage Raybo was blown away by Herbie Hancock in the 80's. The kids at the Blue-light discos i would regularly attend in Western Sydney would collectively lose their shit when Rockit was played. Breakdance posses would appear from nowhere and dance-offs would invariably ensue. It was the start of my love affair with all things rap and hip-hop.

This track still shoots tingles up my spine.

Hahahaha same, it was DST on the cuts on Rock It that got dudes like Q Burt into it.

It was Beat Street the movie that blew me away.

Speaking of blowing away, Jazzy Jeff is playing Max Watts on the 9th. I can't miss this one.

Bro, turntables are so expensive now.

Not sure if 1200s are still being produced.

Not even sure about Vestax these days.

But people are talking about Rane

Still very much a beginner. Played a bit in school and just taking it back up....call it mid-life crisis! 😁

I like the cut of that man's jib!

Marcus Miller and Flea are right up there for me, however, my current fav is Joe Dart from Vulfpeck. It would be mad to lay out some of these basslines!!!
