Listen to anything but Metal is my primary.

I used to play drums and guitar in metal/punk bands in my youthful days, ive even opened for aussie punk band One Dollar Short in the north side event Shoreshocked in like... 2001 or something haha.

Too many to name but some big ones which I loved no particular order

    Pantera
    Fear Factory
    Kill Switch Engage
    Lamb of God
    Sevendust
    As I lay dying
    Tool/A perfect circle
    Static X
    Parkway Drive
    Old Korn
    Old Slipknot
    Mudvayne
    Soilwork

    Guitar virtuosos
    Vai
    Satriani
    Paul gilbert
    Yngwie malmsteen

Im sure there are a ton more but cant think of them right now

Listening while having a quiet beer or two.
Written in the aftermath of September 11th so lyrically it has aged, the riffs on this though are Gary Holt at his monstrous best. Atrocity Exhibition up there as one of their best albums.
What a classic, it's been a while without listening anything from them.

Good taste mate, a bit of everything there. Soilwork, tool and fear factory will be my top picks there for sure.

    Squawking magpies!
Those feathered cunts have been squawking in a tree outside my window for 6 fucking weeks now!
They are doing my head in.
Are they a protected species? or can I fire a shot gun and finish off the noisy fuckers!

got girls talking about love songs. Sure they are nice and make you feel gooey inside, bit I tried to find one with a bit of edge, yet still feminine.

Record and remix it into the finest Thrash Screamo Dubstep Country Trance Pop mix in existence.

Share none of the profits with them.

That'll show em' who the superior mammal is.

Apparently this song is based on a true story.
Some dude drowning, and another bloke not giving a fuck.

    https://youtu.be/eH3giaIzONA
Seeing my Viking of a boss dancing to this Whitney Houston banger was the highlight of my year so far.
Crank this tune on a decent set of speakers, and if you dont bust a dance move, you have no soul

    Ah Prince..

    William Joel.
    Classic.

Plus a whole bunch of UB40, Mariah Carey, The Police.... it's an 80's week in my head.
Which is ironic as fuck, coz I am a black clad scary looking motherfucker.

ML claims that the Polish were the only ones to capture Moscow. Not sure thats true and it was a Polish-Lithuanian force anyway.
Still the music adds so much to the sessions imo.
She must be a big fan of the Polish Winged Hussars.
    Those guys were fearsome warriors.
One of the best cavalries of all time. They won numerous battles, perhaps most notably they turned the tide in the Battle of Vienna (1683) and thus stopped the Ottoman/Muslim conquest of Western Europe.

Digging November rain too. Bit of an all time fav.
The ending to the song, often cut by moronic radio stations, is utter brilliance, and resonates rather strongly with me.

    Burt Bacharach and Hal David.
Burt was a fucking genius for sure but Hal doesn't get the kudos he deserves.
Hal wrote the brilliant, witty, sexy, "shallow but deep" lyrics to most of Burt's tunes.
Dionne Warwick probably does the best job of the Burt and Hal songs but really even I sound good good singing those songs, they are just so fucking brilliant.
