An example? 3 years back I use to know this korean WL from a disbanded agency. Turned out that she had a criminal record. Even hassled me about some girl that was my workmate, dating a guy she really liked. Classic high School drama scene.
Another example, well they've said it. Trust is being misplaced.
Another example, there's a recent news article where some dude was trying to recruit WLs across Sydney to partake in money laundering.
Anyone who shares such, would be inconsiderate of the WL/ML.

I'm surprised that most wls use real WeChat to talk to shops n selected clients. I mean that's just one Google search away from real Facebook / social media account. Can't imgine that working out in a good way lol

I'd maybe have been less judgemental about it if it was tied to her working identity, but this is weird, creepy and definitely stalkerish.

I have had WLs on my legit social media before, real names, real profiles. In the end i decided it was not a great idea. I can talk to them through other means, Wechat setup for punting, whatsapp and plain old SMS. I would always get paranoid when they would like or comment on any of my photos or status updates. Would potentially have to come up with some story if i got asked 'who's this person' etc etc.
I also think that you are compromising your own anonymity if their prvacy settings aren't set up right. There are some very dumb social media users. It was a WL's birthday one time, she had a profile with her real name and a punter posted on her timeline, wishing her a happy birthday but calling her by her shop name!
