Shops that accept credit cards - discretely

Looking for intel on shops that accept credit cards but where the credit card statement doesn’t shout “massage shop!” I only know of 197 Clarence Street.

Even as a single man, cash only ... credit cards link back to transaction records, banking employees have full access details on company transactions, they can link it to your credit record for future reference and loan applications, hide it from your wife ? it's a bigger task to hide it from your trading n transaction history ... don't do it ... save cash separately for a special treat !

Most shops don't want to take credit cards anyway, because they create a cash flow trail that an inquisitive ATO investigator can interpret.

Anything you don't want big brother to know use cash only. I use cash for all punting.

Yup couldn't agree more, not worth the several ways you could get burnt otherwise.

Agree to all of the above, cash is king !

Besides, I think most shops if accept CC, charge you 10% more surcharge , not worth it , right ?

Only time I ever used a credit card for punting was decades ago when I was still a problem gamler, spending a weekend in Canberra (yes, that’s how long ago before the Star city even opened!) had a bad night in the casino, lost all my cash and max out on the cards ! But still before midnight so can’t get any more cash advance until the next morning, needed a fuck, so drove to Fyshwick and entered one of the cauc brothel and asked if they took Amex and they did so I fucked a big tits blonde milf (fake boobs!) , funny thing was , after the punt, the clock ticked over to the new day, withdraw another grand and head back to casino Camberra and this time, the tide changed and I recovered most loses earlier ! True story !

Why punt if you only got credit card and no cash? Use your hand!

All good advice guys. The credit card statement from 137 Clarence just says LN & SY P/L. Much easier to explain that away to the other half as hardware, car bill etc, than regular withdrawals of large amounts of cash. Just my 2 cents worth

Just have a personal account at a different bank from your wife
Easy to set up.All correspondence etc sent to an email address
Technology makes it easy to punt discretely

Just note that if you google a name these days you're likely to get a result from a company name checking website.

Eg LN & SY PTY. LTD shows up with one result and it says
OTHER ENTITY NAMES: BN Sydney CBD massage & waxing

lol good luck explaining that one.

But you will still have a card, with the risk she might find that, either in transit or on your person.

Done it once out of pure laziness for a cheapo punt (less than $90) The card has since been cancelled as I did some financial consolidation a few years ago. Evidence is there but you'd need a lot of time to find it

    Cash Only
A lot of places are now installing ATMs
A lot of downside to cards
    Can be skimmed....surcharge....traceable paper trail
