For many girls, it can transform their entire lives while many want to look more “Western” or “American.” The only problem for many guys settling down with these girls is that he doesn't know what his children might turn out to be in the end.
I think at the end of the day, if it’s ML or WL whom I won’t be waking up next to, then I will just ignore how they appear underneath the makeup because I find their current look (with makeup on) attractive.
If it’s someone I am dating or married to, yeah I think that will matter.
As for cosmetic surgery, if the girl appears natural afterwards, then I think I can live with it. Naturally good looking parents doesn’t necessarily guarantee good looking kids anyway (plus if it’s my own kids, I really should be loving them regardless of how they look. So it wouldn’t matter)
