Depends where it is. Over bone or on fatty tissue it can hurt. Over a more muscle part of the body it's not so bad.
If you're worried about 20 minutes of pain I'd suggest against it. If you can't handle 20 minutes of sacrifice for the art then are you really going to cope with the tat for a lifetime?

But if it’s an ugly tatt it detracts from the experience.

Agree that a lot of punts are not memorable. The best punts for me are when the WL is truly welcoming and loves giving herself to the session. She is inventive and knows how to please a man, and she does it with joy
