    Ginza New Shop

When The new Ginza shop opens wonder if 278 will close..?
Good place location already kitted out
Someone may take over the premises for a new knock shop

Maybe the current 278 building will become extension of current Ginza?

It's not about the physical address , it's about the name, the brand, the reputation.
The Ginza name, brand, reputation is huge.
They are the Apple, Levi's, Coca Cola, BMW, Nike etc of punting.
Club 278 was a huge success from day one because everyone knew it was a Ginza shop.
Punters went there because it is a Ginza shop and they know what the Ginza brand means.
When the new shop opens it will also be a huge success because everyone will know it's a Ginza shop.

    Rooter...you are correct of course
The physical address may however may present some access challenges
Both current locations are easily accessed and relatively easy to park
    Elizabeth Street is another story
Anyhow....where there is a will there is a way
Looking forward to the Grand opening

The opening promotional price also helped.

I still haven't had the chance to check out 278, I'm guessing the main Ginza store is still staying put?

Everytime I look at going to 278 I end up just going to Ginza instead :/

not sure why move, i know the location of current place and it is good. good back lane entrance, good street parking around and not a busy area . if it is elizabeth st, that is very busy area and parking terrible.

Closer to Central may bring in more foot traffic; casual day punters.

Depends where on Elizabeth St, but parking is not usually not a problem from central up to Cleveland St. Chalmers St is virtually the next block down and also parking friendly, 278 and Ginza are on Cleveland St which has no parking at all.

Parking has never been an issue for their current locations. Goodlet Street or any of those side streets north of Cleveland.

But I am unsure I will go to the CBD.

what i heard is that ginza is going to increase price after new shop is complete.
they might do specials but overall price will increase after new shop is open.
think opening is around mid to late june.

Elizabeth St near Central.... That's literally just down the road from 278. Awesome for taking the train. I actually hope it is further down the road closer to Goulburn St, because then you can just park in the council carpark there. Parking no longer becomes an issue... You can book your 4 hour punts without risking a ticket!
Maybe they're taking over the old 1 Blackburn St building? That's a huge one, plenty of rooms.
