So decided to pop into have a quick massage at a massage shop in Clarence St this afternoon only to come out into the street and it being in lockdown as there was a stabbing that occurred around the corner. Emergency services all over the place around Clarence, King & York St. Apparently a lady was stabbed in the back and another lady found dead in an apartment block in Clarence St.
Yeah, I was at Market St and the cops blocked the road and were directing traffic away from the area.
My level of sarcasm depends on your level of stupidity.

The deceased lady was described in the news as a "sex worker". Another of the victims appeared to be Asian.
So sad. I was hoping no one in serious injuries.
There are some many private ML/WL working out of CBD apartments. I use to rent an apartment down near the rock/Barangaroo and in our unit block there would of been at least a dozen private WL. Many complaints from other residents. Yes very sad either way, no one deserves to die like that. RIP to the young lady.

I think it was very unfair of the news to show the girls. They've already had a bad enough day and now their family and friends are finding out they're sex workers.

The attacker had a mental illness apparently and apparently had terrorist ideaology.
I think this should Be a warning to all privates to increase their security or at least arm themselves with a capsicum spray something.
