    While this subsidy is not mean tested, there are some qualifications you have to meet: you will be tested positive after 22/11, admitted into a government hospital, do not get paid sick leaves from your employer and actually can show loss of income due to your sickness. So if you are currently unemployed, hence no loss of income and you won’t get the money.

    With 3 vaccines now reporting the results from successful phase 3 trials and showing high efficacy, it is getting more likely that the worst effects of this pandemic will be over by the middle of next year. Some countries including the UK are rolling out vaccines during December and January at least to priority groups. And they are preparing for vaccine rollout here in Australia during 1st quarter of 2021.

    So, hopefully some of the restrictions that COVID has placed on us all will start to recede :-)
