I reckon he will win because of it. He'll be able to say that the doc's cured him and brag about how strong he is. Dominate the news without having to be in the public eye.
If he doesn't speak, he can't say anything stupid that will cost him the election.

That’s absurd. The entire country is looking at yet another blunder and he is now basically the symbol of the failure of his administration to get this virus under control.

Yet for some reason I don’t believe he has the mental capacity nor maturity to accept this and goes back to being himself and deny facts as soon as he recovered

The US Constitution won’t allow any delay on a Presidential election : not even during the times of Civil War. It will proceed as planned.

The HongKong government is giving out a $5000 prize to anyone tested positive to coronavirus to encourage more people to go for testing !

More like a wages compensation? As once you are tested positive you will need to be quarantined for 14 days therefore can’t work and no income. I think it’s a good and responsible policy.

They said the purpose is to flush out the invisible virus carriers. Instead of issuing fines for not getting tested when I’ll, they reward them !

While in Adelaide one worker like that brought the state into lockdown and caused the employer a lot of troubles.

    This could backfire really badly.
Some poor desperate people could just go out there doing all the wrong things to deliberately get infected.
Especially if they are young and healthy.

Could still help anyway as they would have a lead with contact tracing

While this subsidy is not mean tested, there are some qualifications you have to meet: you will be tested positive after 22/11, admitted into a government hospital, do not get paid sick leaves from your employer and actually can show loss of income due to your sickness. So if you are currently unemployed, hence no loss of income and you won’t get the money.

    Cheers

With 3 vaccines now reporting the results from successful phase 3 trials and showing high efficacy, it is getting more likely that the worst effects of this pandemic will be over by the middle of next year. Some countries including the UK are rolling out vaccines during December and January at least to priority groups. And they are preparing for vaccine rollout here in Australia during 1st quarter of 2021.

So, hopefully some of the restrictions that COVID has placed on us all will start to recede :-)

Although I am still being optimistic that the vaccines would reduce the death rate, however I suspect that it will be like the common cold and flu which need regular/ annual jab to keep away from different strains of COVID-19 mutations.

One of the places visited by at least 1 of the people diagnosed with COVID in on the Sydney Northern Beaches visited

6 Avalon Barramee Thai Massage and Spa Monday, 14 December, 2-3.30pm

Anyone who has attended is considered a close contact and should get tested and isolate for 14 days even if they receive a negative result

    Over-hyped pandemic.

We should never have let the government assumed this much power and control over our daily lives.

You only need to look at the US to see what could have happened had our governments not reacted
