How was it during Covid? I see a number of my good friends in the industry have/had also left - a number especially have gone back home to their native countries :-(

I’ve been good - enjoying normality. I am (recently) single so thought it was a good a time as any to come out of retirement (I have ignored countless calls and messages for a year for me to come back - it was lovely to be so wanted and missed!)

I also thought it’ll be good to have another hurrah of sorts as I’m seriously thinking about going back home to the Uk for good. What with what he had to go through the last year etc has really put it in perspective. Well for me anyway!

I agree - it’s still extremely dire over there. However they are pumping out the vaccine super quick to people that want it. My brother, unfortunately is a massive conspiracy theorist and he and his wife and kid have refused it.

Hmmm the Tories - weirdly I don’t think Boris is doing too bad a job (however it’s easy for me to say being here and not being in the UK. He’s damn if he does and damned if he don’t. His response when Covid first hit was questionable though, however since then I think he’s doing the best he can.
My family and friends (who are labour supporters) all think he’s an arse though. But as a leader, I don’t know how else he can try to contain the virus ravaging the country.
As a centrist conservative, I don’t mind him. However I hated Maggie Thatcher and saw first hand how workers were treated (my dad had to go on the dole during here tenure and it was tough. I was from a labour voting family, however as politics change I seem to be more centrist now.

Yep sorry - it was only see decided that I’ll stay at Brookvale today too.

I see 2 rates for Brookvale "Non Asian Ruby" and "Non Asian Emerald". Can't find any explanation of the difference.
What is the difference (if any) from your point of view?
