This is why there has to be separation, and “Never the Twain” shall meet. It gets messy. Both parties have to understand that although there is a sexual connection - getting emotionally involved by giving more on the outside (texting “come see me baby” “I miss you” etc) can get you in a grey area of crap. Unfortunately, not much in the way of Aussie comedy shows now, though Have you been paying Attention on Monday Nights on 10 is pretty good. D-Gen and the late show back in the day were gems. Fast Forward had some classic skits, whilst Comedy Company had plenty of likeable characters.
Jim Jeffries is probably our best comedian these days. Carl Barron gets an honourable mention.
My pleasure mate. I lived over there for a couple of years 25 years ago, but was always drawn to British humour, Monty Python, Billy Connolly, Lenny Henry, One Foot In The Grave etc, discovered a lot of these shows 10 or so years ago and rolled on from there. These days I just love Richard Ayoade, David Mitchell, Frankie Boyle, Katherine Ryan, Jimmy Carr etc.
