I’ve got a friend that use to work in the sex industry for many years, working in lots of different brothels and massage parlors around Sydney. She once told me that every punter that walks into these shops are seen first by the girls out back on CCTV
Then the girl can decide if they are available for that punter or not.
My friend got heavily involved with drugs then got deported back to her country, so her frame of mind was a little whacked out, so possibly could have just been telling me porkies

Just trying to find out if their was any truth behind that?

Why is it a surprise anyway ?

CCTV are everywhere, in any businesses. It’s not a big investment to install CCTV these days, you can buy the do-it-yourself ones too.

IMHO, I think there would be more students working in RnT massage parlour than in FS shops. And of course they will need all the protection they can get, no ?

Actually in other parts of the world, you might be (or not) surprised at the extent of CCTV networks and whats running behind them.
Hong Kong is a good example, from the time you arrive till the time you leave, anywhere you a liable to be seen, recorded, identified, tagged, whatever...
no movement is private (sorry crappy joke....)

Many massage shops use CCTV. Most will keep recording too.

You can at least see CCTV cameras so you know that you could be watched live normally. Stands out like guys posting BB sex with a prostitute on a public forum. Most people can't or don't see the digital imprint they leave.

Most RnT places are illegal in that sense, but just licensing law. Not criminal offence.
