Unhappy I heard gossip that AUS will be in lockdown soon, don't know when I can do ML again :(

Just heard Gossip (dont quote me on this) that the country might place in lockdown this Friday until 31/3, I have been waiting to go ML or even just a part 1 from a legit shop but fear of catching the virus.

Brothers, brace ourselves for this difficult time

Not surprise. Other countries are doing it. we just follow what other countries are doing. Hope the lock down will stop this virus.

makes me want to punt more. I am no risk and i have been in many risky situations. Maybe that's why Europe is the Covid-19 epicentre.

What does really happen when the country is in lockdown?
Are we not allowed to go out at all?
Are we required to self isolate?
Hmmm I'm more concerned with my well being.
    I always eat out, I don't cook cos I can't lol.
Don't feel like stock piling foods like the commoners - lol
As for sex...I'll make plans with regulars and see what we can do 😜

I've been hearing rumours all week, it's always my mates mums boyfriends second sisters colleague is so and so's either pm or premiers speech writer... Saying there will be a lock down...

It'll eventually happen similar to other European countries but when it's lifted, everyone will be out eager to punt or shop lol

I have a friend who lives in China and stayed there and is still there now. He is in Dongguan and spent a good few weeks in lockdown. Restaurants were allowed to cook for takeaway only and food delivery was available, they were allowed to shop at the super market and Chemists. Everyone followed the rules and its worked out OK. Just last week Pubs and restaurants have been allowed to have people inside them but with strict conditions. They must sign in with a WeChat app with all there info on it, they are checked for Temp and must keep 1mt between ( family is OK to sit together )

If we go into lockdown it essential for some business to stay open and keep the food supply going. Supermarkets and home delivery food. And stay home and relax for 2 weeks hopefully keep healthy and in a couple of weeks we will come out the other side in a better position that sitting back and waiting like Europe and USA.

Scott Morrison has spoken this morning and assured the country that there is No plan for any lock down. The PM also advised that if there is any lock down plan in the future, it will and can only come from him.

Trust our government and don't believe everything you read on the internet, please !

just saying in a roundabout way that the problem here is nothing compared to Europe. I think there are a lot of girls that are not busy which could lead to a pretty good punt.

Don't believe gossip, and don't spread it.

Legit shops seem to be operating normally, and they would most likely have higher standards of hygiene than a lot of RnT shops.

There will be no lock down, yes we will have to get used to not going to the footy, races ect but everything else will be pretty much normal. I am still punting im confident of not catching anything, i am preferring my usual thai massage place at the moment as its regional and has long term girls. Yes theres a slight chance but i really dont think you have to isolate or stop doing things you would normally do. Im still going to go to the pub or club, restaurant ect if they let me in, i havent hoarded or stopped doing anything i normally do and i wont stop. If by the slimest of chance i get crook i will follow medical instruction. Im fit and healthy middle aged, married and got a good chance of survival and explaining how i got it as i work in an office building not in lock down and possibly wont be.

I think my view on Morrison has been more consistent than the man himself. IMHO, I think he could have done more and sooner, be a leader and not a follower.

But the way he explained why he is not closing the schools - yet ! Could make some sense as when all the school kids are staying home, a lot of them will be cared for by the grandparents which in itself creates more risks for both age groups. And other children may need to be cared for by their parents who then have to stop working or working from home - many of these parents may be from the medical or emergency services . So I am happy to buy his idea and see if the country can can tough it out until the usual Easter holidays which isn’t far away and let the usual and should have been pre planned family coverage take place, then if necessary, extend the holidays to a period which is better for all concerned ?

BTW, when I said trust the PM and the government, I am more concentrated on the matter of lock down and when the guy said he’s the only man in the country who will and can make that decision, no reason not to believe him rather than stressing out from some random threads from FB or IG ??

Population of Australia: ~25 million; Number of confirmed cases: <500; number of deaths: 6

Sure it is still early days, and the future is uncertain, but the figures so far are underwhelming

    By comparison
    NSW road toll YTD: 68

I struggle to understand, if there is a lock down and indeed kids have to stay home, parents are home too.... Now in case where important workers like medical staff and cooks have to go to work....Thier kids can be put in school, like after / before school care at government expense, it's a good investment. Thus number of kids at school is reduced and less social contact....unless of course like me you think more with dick head rather than brain and give into punt...😔

Geez, why do people do this. Always comparing total deaths of "something" against something mundane like road deaths, thinking it will make that "something" look less dangerous, LOL. Like when they compare deaths by shark attacks to road deaths.... that's fucking stupid. Everyone drives, but not everyone goes swimming in shark infested waters. Heck even the number of people who swim in the sea are minute compared to people who drive. A bit of simple math and extrapolation to determine probability of death will tell you sharks really are fucking dangerous creatures, stay the fark away from them, regardless if you're going to eat their fins or not.
Same thing with this virus. Yeah, only 6 deaths from more (not less) than 500 infections in AUS. I guess you can compare number of infections to number of car accidents, since we're going to compare death tolls. Do car accidents increase exponentially over time? Or does the fact that your wife/GF/bestie just had an accident make it more likely that you will get an accident next?

Well explain. You should have been the spockman for this Government.
