I have definitely gained some weight. Trying to be more conscious of it now and going for walks and a run but I always seem to be snacking now!
I read this news story too.
But I think the statistics behind it are flawed because it is based on self assessment /perception.
Yes people are definitely buying more booze from the bottle shop and drinking more at home.
But I reckon overall alcohol consumption is actually down.
This is because people are not counting all the drinking they did outside of home before the lockdown; in pubs, clubs, footy, restaurants, weddings, parties, dinners, airports, functions, BBQs, picnics, casino, RSL, flights, cruises, holidays etc.
Bottle shop sales and drinking at home are up for sure, but I reckon overall drinking has decreased.
Think about all those thousands of trucks full of beer kegs, and cases of wine and spirits delivering to pubs, clubs, bars etc every day, and all of those venues full of people drinking every day and night of the week. They don't exist anymore.

I am missing gym but never been more cardio fit in my life. Got plenty of time to cycle nowadays lol

Hardest part of lockdown and WFM I’m finding is to stop snacking or eating too much.
Being in the office or on the road means the kitchen is a lot further away than just in the other room.
Started a couch to 5k thing yesterday as I've barely exercised in years, nearly died on my arse. Can only get better from here....
That would be perfect, Zoom meeting up top of table and underneath a ML teasing and stroking underneath.
A fit body is wasted at a time you can't see the girls
More the other way around, getting fatter and will be too big when lockdowns end
Don't do it for the girls, do it for you. Better general health, better mental health and so on. Nobody is saying you should come out the other side looking like Thor, but you'll feel much better for it. You don't have to love it either, hate it but do it, it gets easier and the benefits far outweigh the negatives. 30mins 2 or 3 times a week. Just do it.
Lol, for me it’s a matter of eating too much rather than no exercise. Having a kitchen so close is the temptation.
Gotta reign the self control back in.
When this lockdown ends, most of the public will be over weight, if you are American you will not notice but being Auzi you will see the difference.
