but i just wonder what's the difference between punting in a brothel vs punting in Private ? I notice $$$ in Private 141 is a lot higher but then against isn't the nature is somewhat the same ? I hope some experienced folks out there can shed some light

Brothel you have pros of multiple girls in a line up or or much more solid info and reliability in booking a single girl, early on I would advise brothels, you have the fall back and reputation of establishment, its a safer bet all around. and cost is vastly better for the most part on like for like services. Brothels you want to check the service level, i.e if it says diamond you know your getting top service, or do your research on forums to know what your getting into
Private is much more unreliable , way less research data for the most part, and many fake ads depending on where you go, your dealing mostly 1 on 1 or though sometimes managers are involved or agency, private may be worth while if you intend to build a relation up with an individual, over time etc, girls in brothels bounce a lot and can be harder to connect in that sense. Some of the truly best girls though, you typically only find in private, certain escort websites will show you girls in the 700 per hour range. sure you can find gems in brothels but likely they are not selling out for 250-350 when privates go for double
some people like the more discreet nature of the private, no chance of getting caught out, or far less if discretion is the key
They are often the same girls.
Some girls move from private to brothel, some girls move from brothel to private, some do both at the same time.
Much more chance of getting scammed with privates eg girl totally different girl than advertised, much lower level of service than advertised, paying a lot more money for a same or lower quality girl that you get in a brothel. Much more hassle making the booking, getting access to apartment, no shows etc. No one to complain to if things go bad
Brothel has more quality control. The shop manager/mamasan does the recruiting, interviewing, basic training, gets feedback from customers etc. The girls have to be of a certain standard in looks/body and have to provide a certain level of service.
Simplicity and convenience. Just book and turn up or turn up with no booking and check the line up.
Not sure what the appeal of privates is. Maybe a mistaken belief that there are better quality girls doing privates, or I guess the simplicity of the brothel experience is a negative for some guys; they like the uncertainty of the privates. Fair enough.
When I first started out I used to find brothels intimating and there was a sense of exposure. I wasn't familiar with the etiquette and what to expect. If you are nervous just talk to the host and let them know. They want you to feel comfortable so that you have a good time and return. If your worried about entrances do a drive by and check it out.
My time with privates has been great I have been with known girls and the service has always been great. This minimises the chance of a bad experience. With a private I feel a lot more comfortable with them and the environment. You can also ask questions and get a sense of personality through texts and also their social media. It does cost more but its a different environment. There is still the rush of doing something secretive without the in your face exposure of a brothel.
Now that I have a experienced both I think more about "What do I want to get out of the experience?" and "what can I afford?". Am I after a date or fuck buddy vibe? or am I just going for a release of tension and have some fun? With privates I have found that I can set the time and it won't be pushed back or the roster has changed. Its enjoyable going to a hotel or their apartment. I won't see any other punters (nothing personal - lol). Also the beds and heaps nicer!
Shops are great as they are cheaper and can be more convenient for spur of the moment needs. If you find good ones you can strike up a relationship with the managers who will provide recommendations as well as look after you with bookings etc.

From personal experience with a shop, yes more selection, generally more convenient in regards to time, if you get to know the managers then they can be a good source of information.
Privates tend to be far less reliable as stated, but a good private can be more of a gf/fwb/affair type feel. Service varies more wildly I find with privates, from total dud to mind-blowing.
A lot of girls do both. I know some girls reserved their special service for private work, so you got a taste in the shop but for $50 more (And far greater profit for them) if you wanted the no-holds barred platinum label service then private was the way to go.
These aren't hard and fast rules obviously, just my experiences.
I was trying to book a private that really piqued my interest, but her hours just couldn't match my schedule, and this is a common theme I've experienced, whereas when shops open I know there are a variety of girls at say 42G that look interesting across a range of days and shifts, and so in a way the mountains come to Mohammad.

+1 to this. Depending on where you work or live, sometimes a tried and trusted private / agency is just more convenient than a brothel. There are legal hurdles to opening a brothel in heavily populated areas, but nothing like that stopping a one-to-one type operation.
For me, cost and reliability is more important. In Sydney, I definitely go to shops that I can trust.
I did private in Taiwan, and Philippines, once in Jap. In Taiwan, I was found an agency (search through internet) which I found the reception lady was very helpful. Have a couple of great sessions.
In Manila, I used the search nearby on wechat and found a couple. Turned out to be very good. Also tried an agency on line once and it was decent.
So I only go for private when shops are not available.
