Ahhh, is that the place near the corner? I’ve always wondered what it’s like. I’ve been the to the Thai place next door, maybe I’ll give it a shot. The noodles I love are the Chinese handmade noodles at most Chinese hotpot places, particularly Shancheng Hotpot king. I honestly could just have them and the spicy broth. So fucking good.

Noodles seem to generate the same experience levels as MLs/WLs. No matter how good your favourite place is, there is always the chance of a better experience at the next place you visit.

Agree AN is still the benchmark, although eat Pho at Marrickville is also good.... don't go to Hello Auntie!!

Also over three page no one mention Tan Viet Noodle House? original in Cabramatta don't have pho but the noodle soup still good and the crispy roast chicken is just legendary. City branch had Pho and I think Eastwood too and its not bad at all.

Those who look for Laksa Ipoh Town next to Grace hotel, Albee's Kitchen Campsie and Cinta Rasa near "the ramp" is all good.

Try VN Street Foods in Marrickville. They have this thing called Buncha (?). Its rice noodles with grilled pork in some sort of soup and it is amazing.

Any one know any good ramen places out west?
Near liverpool-ish would be preferred. Been craving some but no time to venture into the city.

    Happy Chef Noodle Restaurant

Top floor of the Sussex Centre in China Town.

They do many different soup styles, some with noodles and some without.

Their food is always delicious and fresh. And their broths pack some serious flavour. $10-$15 for a generous bowl.

I think you're referring to "knife cut" noodles. Flat and the sides are a bit curly? I like that too... There's a place on Bathurst St near the Sussex st intersection that does this pretty well.
