bbbj, cim, bbciv, bbcia was ALL standard back then. you walked into places like tiffanys atoc some places around the burbs chose your girl went to the room and she did her inspection (if you weren't a regular) visual first looking for warts cuts abrasions or anything she considered didn't look right then she "milked" you if the fluid was clear she took your $$$ and left you to shower whilst she tallied with reception.
if she didn't like you she told you you had something and they'd get another girl to come check you, usually the second girl told you there was nothing wrong so you'd swap to see her.
sometimes you'd pay for an hour but get buzzed after 45 minutes, that's when the girl got caught out trying to fiddle with the times and pocket the difference if you weren't keeping an eye on the clock you'd lose out
