    Disturbing privacy violations

So it goes without saying that I am only on forums like this in incognito mode. However, I've recently noticed two things which are disturbing me.

    1. I got FB ads for treatment of a STI that I discussed in a forum.

    2. I'm getting recommended friends that I browsed on one of my fake FB accounts, again only in incognito mode. The friend recommendation is a Thai chick that very probably is, or has been, a WL/ML.

Anyone else notice things like this?

Stop using chrome or whichever browser you have.

Download Brave browser amd dont look back.

    Hope it helps

Facebook in incognito mode didn't work because it will go against your profile details.

I have separate browsers for everyday use vs "special" use. Where possible I use a separate user on PC and on phone for other use, and use a VPN, but sometimes I also just cant be bothered cause facebook and google probably already know more about me than I want them to

Ensure you use private mode when browsing punting forums or search anything sensitive like STI, condoms, shops address etc.

What you really haven't indicated is the platform you are using.

EG: NEVER USE a facebook or any associated APP. including messanger, facebook, instagram etc...

I set up a fake FB account a couple of years ago. The first "people I may know" to pop up was my real account.
