    Arrow Working from home/Hybrid models...

With covid we have seen the australian workplace change quite dramatically.

Now continuing, the standard office job has changed and so has the city & suburban centers.

This obviously has relative impacts on many business but concern here is 2 specific industries (ML & WL) as privates and shops.

I also suspect that we are also seeing different patterns emerging due the the work at home scene, some aspects I don't personally see, but I wonder if the home call is increasing along with home work ?

I see some shops being open much later (not necessarily officially)in the evening, to get enough customers thru the doors in a day, or not to lose due to the changing patterns.

So I wonder what others are seeing which I may miss...
Please experience and knowledge, not "maybe, supposition".

I've seen notices about the legal shop hours changing in the city. Never knew the shops closing early was a legal thing here, I just thought it was a cultural thing. It'll be nice to be able to do something other than buy groceries after 7pm.

Do you mean CLOSING much later in this context?

I’ve been told by some MLs that the city shops are much quieter (which makes sense) and that the shops in the suburbs are busier for them. I guess with some people still WFH, and avoiding public transport then the lack of parking in the city and lower footfall doesn’t help. Usually easier to park in the suburbs if using a car.

I think a mobile caravan, camper van or Winnebago would be a great idea.
